Lambchp are one of the brightest and most unique bands to emerge from the US scene in the nineties. The band has never had a consistent line-up but a fluid collective of musicians revolving around a creative focal point represented by frontman Kurt Wagner. Their music has no specific genre and ranges from country, to soul, to jazz and every conceivable type of contemporary music. The group formed in Nashville in 1986 as a simple trio of Wagner, guitarist Jim Watkins and bassist Marc Trovillion. Originally called Posterchild, the group self-produced and released a series of cassettes entitled I’m F*cking Your Daugther.
In the second decade of life, the band explored electronics with creativity and originality, publishing several records and EPs, which have the common denominator of insatiable research and the favor of international audiences and critics.
